Shipping Information
We take every precaution to ensure that your coral orders arrive in pristine condition. Our shipping process involves careful packaging and the use of insulated coolers with sturdy cardboard outer boxes. Additionally, we utilize a 5 mil liner to prevent any potential leaks. Depending on the weather conditions along the route, we include either heat packs or ice packs as needed.
To cover the costs of packing materials and safe delivery, a $20 per box fee is billed once your order is packed. An invoice will be sent to you via PayPal.
Payment and Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are automatically processed through the credit card we have on file with our secure payment processor.
For UPS shipments, we offer Priority Overnight service with delivery by 10:30 A.M. in most areas. Please note that due to COVID-19, UPS cannot guarantee the 10:30 A.M. delivery time, and some rural areas may receive deliveries by noon to 2 P.M.
We prefer to use SouthWest Cargo or Delta Cargo for all orders, and we encourage customers to visit their nearest air cargo facility for pickup. SouthWest Cargo shipments are Collect on Delivery, while Delta Cargo charges will be billed by SoFlow Rubio's Corals.
We maintain a minimum order policy of $600.
Dead on Arrival Policy
In the unlikely event of a Dead on Arrival (DOA) coral, please send a clear digital photo of the coral within 4 hours of delivery. Once we receive the photo, we will issue a store coupon code for future orders. Please note that the store coupon code does not cover shipping costs, and we do not offer refunds—only credit toward future orders.
FOR ALL DOA: Please send DOA Claim form
Receiving Your Shipment
To ensure the safe and healthy arrival of your coral orders, please note the following important guidelines:
UPS Delivery Attempt:
You must be available to receive the first UPS delivery attempt. If you miss this delivery and the shipment is delivered within 1 hour of the second attempt, we will consider a Dead on Arrival (DOA) claim at our discretion.
Airport Pickup:
For orders to be picked up from the airport, please ensure that you retrieve your shipment within 2 hours of its arrival or within 2 hours of the facility opening for business.
Insurance Coverage for Cargo Shipments
For all cargo shipments, insurance coverage is automatically included. In the event that you receive a shipment with visible external damage or suspect unseen internal damage, we kindly request that you take the following steps:
Take clear photographs that clearly depict the external damage, and if applicable, any internal damage.
Complete the Dead on Arrival (DOA) Claim Form.
Provide a letter on your company's letterhead authorizing SoFlow Rubio's Corals to handle the insurance claim.
Please send these documents, including the pictures, DOA Claim Form, copy of Airway Bill, and the authorization letter, to our email address [email protected]
These guidelines are in place to maximize the well-being of your coral specimens and minimize any potential issues related to delayed pickups. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these requirements.
Shipping Delays and Address Responsibility
SoFlow Rubio's Corals cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the shipping company, including mechanical issues, weather-related delays, or service failures that may result in late deliveries. Additionally, it is the buyer's responsibility to provide accurate and correct shipping addresses.
Thank you for choosing SoFlow Rubio's Corals. We are dedicated to providing you with the world's finest corals and ensuring their safe arrival at your destination.
